In the Jubilee flowerbed we have different plants and flowers growing.

See if you can find these in the flowerbed:

Now, look at the selection of items on the table.

Can you find the seeds?

The seeds are the only things which can live and grow.

Look at the difference between the cress seeds before and after they have started growing.

What do seeds need to grow?

Light

Warmth

Now, lay your seeds on some damp kitchen towel and put on the window sill. We can check them every day to see if they need more water and watch them grow.

Storing seeds

If we want to store our seeds, they need to be kept in a dark and dry place. Let's make our own seed packets to store some seeds.
