Je gebruikt deze als je wilt vertellen wanneer of hoe laat je iets wilt gaan doen.

Voorzetsels die iets zeggen over de tijd (om half zeven, op donderdag, in 2012).

• Je gebruikt at voor specifieke tijdstippen.

• Je gebruikt on voor: dagen en data.

• Je gebruikt in voor: maanden, jaartallen en seizoenen, dagdelen of wanneer je het woord 'over' bedoelt.

Adverbs of Frequency = Bijwoorden van frequentie 

Gebruik je om aan te geven hoe vaak je iets doet - of juist dat je nooit iets doet. 

Voorbeelden zijn always, usually, normally, often, sometimes en never.
