To make a plural (meervoud) you add +s to a word. 

For -s, -x, -z, -ch or -sh you add - es 

Example: bus = busses / box = boxes

For a consonant (medeklinker) and -o you add -es

Example: echo = echoes

You change -f or -fe at the end of a word to -ves 

Example: shelf = shelves 

For consonant + -y you change y to -ies 

Example: party - parties NIET party's 

Some expressions you have to learn by heart. 

mouse - mice, photo-photos, foot-feet, man-men

sometimes the word stays the same: sheep-sheep

8. Afsluiting

De docent controleert in de slotfase van de les of de leerdoelen door alle leerlingen behaald zijn en plaatst de les in de context van de betreffende Unit. De docent evalueert samen met de leerlingen het leren en het gedrag op basis van het Learner Profile en de ATL-skills. Dit wordt vastgelegd in Toddle. Samen blikken docent en leerlingen vooruit aan de hand van de JdW-planner.
