Prepositions of direction

Zijn woorden die aangeven in welke richting iets of iemand beweegt of zich verplaatst.

Zonder deze preposition mist er belangrijke informatie uit de zin.

Tim walked around the stadium.

De duck swam across the lake.

The duck swam ? the lake.

Als de 'prespositions/voorzetsels' missen in de zin krijg je niet de juiste informatie. Zonder deze woorden weten we niet of Tim richting het stadium loopt, of van het stadium af, of er omheen?
