In an enlargement of a figure:
- all angles stay the same
- all dimensions (length, width,
height, etc) are multiplied with the same number (called the scale factor)
Triangle B is an enlargement of triangle A with scale factor 2
Triangle D is an enlargement of triangle A with a scale factor 0.5
Triangle F is an enlargment of triangle A with a scale factor of 3
Triangles C and E are NOT enlargements of triangle A
