Past Continuous

Past Continuous - de Duurvorm

WAS/WERE + WW + ING

 

Je gebruikt deze vorm om aan te geven dat iets in het verleden aan de gang was . Vaak wordt deze gecombineerd met de past simple. 

De actie die het langst duurde staat altijd in de past continuous en die het korste duurde in de past simple
