De present continuous is  een tegewoordige tijd.

Wanneer gebruik je de present continuous?

Je gebruikt de present continous als iets nu gebeurt.

Present Continuous

• We gebruiken de present continuous wanneer we het hebben over NU.
  
• Actie die langer duurt.

• Ik ben nu aan het werken.
  
• I am working now.

Let op!

• Change -e to -ing when the verb ends with -e.

Ride --> riding

• Verdubbel de klinker (consonant) aan het einde als een werkwoord 1 lettergreep is (sit, run, swim, etc.)

Sit --> sitting
Run --> running
