Present Simple
Dit is de tegenwoordige tijd die we gebruiken voor:
gewoontes, routines, en feiten.

Signaalwoorden voor de Present Simple zijn:
every day/week/month/, usually, often, regularly, sometimes, once a week (a day), on Mondays, mornings/afternoons/evenings, always, never, generally

Slide 28 - Slide

SHIT RULE
Dat we bij she/he/it een S toevoegen, heet de SHIT rule.
She+He+It = SHIT.

Bij al die pronouns komt er dus een -s achter het hoofdwerkwoord in een positieve zin.

Bij negatieve en vraagzinnen voegen we die -s toe bij het hulpwerkwoord DO. Zoals je zult zien op de volgende slides.

Slide 29 - Slide

Present Simple: Positieve zinnen
+ Hier nemen we het hoofdwerkwoord bijv. eat, sleep, drink, write, relax,
en doen we daar behalve bij HE/SHE/IT helemaal niks mee.

I                             eat       sleep          drink      write       relax
YOU                     eat        sleep        drink       write        relax
HE/SHE/IT        eats     sleeps      drinks    writes       relaxes
WE                       eat        sleep        drink      write          relax
THEY                   eat        sleep       drink       write          relax

Slide 30 - Slide

Present Simple: Negatieve zinnen
- Hier hebben we het hulpwerkwoord DO nodig, en het woordje NOT om het negatief te maken, en verder hebben we het hoofdwerkwoord nodig, waar we verder niks mee doen.

I                            don't         eat sleep drink write relax
YOU                    don't         eat sleep drink write relax
SHE/HE/IT       doesn't    eat sleep drink write relax
WE                      don't         eat sleep drink write relax
THEY                  don't         eat sleep drink write relax

Slide 31 - Slide

Present Simple: vraagzinnen
? Hier hebben we het hulpwerkwoord DO weer nodig, en voor SHIT hebben we DOES nodig. Verder het hele hoofdwerkwoord waar we verder weer niks mee doen.

DO                      I                 eat sleep drink write relax ?
DO                    YOU           eat sleep drink write relax ?
DOES               SHIT          eat sleep drink write relax ?
DO                     WE             eat sleep drink write relax ?
DO                     THEY        eat sleep drink write relax ?
