Nu volgt er opnieuw uitleg over some/any, wanneer gebruik je het?

What's the difference?

Some wordt gebruikt bij 'positieve' zinnen, dingen die wel zo zijn (+).

- I got some nice presents for Christmas this year.

- This job is going to take some time.

- I would like some of those cupcakes.

Any wordt gebruikt bij negatieve zinnen(-) en vragen(?).

- I didn't get any nice presents for Christmas this year.

- I looked in the cupboard but I couldn't find any biscuits.

- Have you got any idea what she is saying?
