Vamos a dedicar la clase de hoy entera a prepara el formativo C (speaking) y la siguiente clase al feedback y a la reflexión del feedback ("My feedback cycle" form).
Presta atención y toma notas.
Recuerda que la mejor manera para preparar los sumativos es hacer bien los formativos.

Guidelines/tips to prepare for the

Summative C (speaking)

1. Revise the LessonUps used in class and do again the activities. Focus on the speaking exercises.

2. Revise the notes that you have taken in class (yellow notebook).

4. Practise the language as much as possible. Think about native speaking friends, relative, etc.

For the Summative C next week

You will have a conversation one to one with your teacher about a topic related to the current unit.
You will get an image and a legend (phrase) as a prompt (inspiration) and will talk about it for 2-3 minutes

FAQ´s

What do I do if I can not speak for 2-3minutes?

During the first part of the assessment the teacher will ask you for your personal information: name, age, nationality, etc. That way you will speak for a longer time ;)

Then, your teacher will give you time to talk about the prompt (image and legend) and only after you have said all you can, they will ask you more questions to help you reach 2-3 minutes.

Do I have to describe the image?

You may, but you do not have to. The legend (phrase) is very important, if the legend says "Me gusta ir al cine", you HAVE TO say something about this prompt. Like: "A mí también me gusta ir al cine porque es divertido y me gusta comer palomitas y ver películas de terror..." After that you can talk about other things related to the topic: favorite movie and/or actor, your hobbies in general, series you don't like to watch, etc.

¡Vamos a practicar!

Today we are going to practise the criterion C, speaking.

In pairs, choose three images, then think of ten things you can say about those images.
Your classmate will be the teacher and you the student, The teacher will ask you questions about the image.
Practice speaking for three minutes about the image and prompt. Switch roles. Click here to get the images to practice.

4. Record your audio and upload it on MB --> Your teacher will give oral feedback next class.

5. Make a copy of the google doc with the images and write the feedback for your classmates.

6. Share with your classmate your feedback.

7. Done? Practice the vocabulary on the next slide.
