English Class Golden Rules

Golden Rule #1: Be respectful

-Listen when others are speaking

-Do not interrupt others

-Limit use of language (swearing)

-No inappropriate gestures towards others

-No hitting, kicking, yelling, screaming, throwing

-Bibliotheek stil

Golden Rule #2: Be kind

-Support/help each other

-Do not laugh at others' mistakes

-Treat others the way you wish to be treated

Golden Rule #3: Be curious!

-Ask questions when you don't understand/want to know more

Golden Rule #4: Do your (home)work

-Homework = work done in class

-Doing your work = higher grades!

-No gaming/online shopping

Golden Rule #5: Be responsible

Always come to class prepared

Forgot something? Ask a peer if they can loan you that item for the class period

Missed an assignment/test? Make an appointment with the teacher after class to make it up
