To summarize
In a formal letter you write
Naam van de ontvanger
You end the letter with yours sincerely or faithfully and you do not use contractions (I´m, don´t).

In an informal letter, you write:
Naam van de ontvanger, You end the letter with yours sincerely or faithfully, kind regards, best wishes etc.

In both, you may start a sentence with I.

  1. Plan Your Writing: Think about what you want to say before you start writing.
  2. Use Simple Sentences: Keep your sentences clear and simple.
  3. Check Your Work: Read your writing again to check for any mistakes.
  4. Stay on Topic: Make sure all your sentences are related to the topic.
