1. Read p106-108 in the textbook and also read about any countries that interest you.
2. For the UK and ONE other country do your own independent research work to highlight factors such as the climate, geography and culture of your chosen countries to show how this influences:
- what food is able to be grown, reared and caught
- how these factors influence traditional ingredients and dishes
Discuss the climate and geography in terms of the food produced and how this affects the authentic flavours, cooking methods and traditional recipes for your chosen countries. Make sure you have explained how you think these have evolved over time.
