Wat is een essay?

Een essay is een geschreven betoog of beschouwing over een onderwerp waarin

je uitgedaagd wordt om zelf een mening te vormen en deze te onderbouwen.

Wat is een betoog?

Hier gaat het erom dat je iemand probeert over te halen om jouw standpunt in te

nemen op basis van argumenten. Het doel van een betoog is om de lezer te overtuigen van

jouw mening. 

Wat is een beschouwing?

Hier gaat het erom wat jij vindt. Bij een beschouwing wil je niet iemand overtuigen van jouw mening. De mening moet wel goed onderbouwd worden.
