Passive vs. active

In active:

Person/thing does the action

In passive:

Person/thing does not do anything

Passive 

	Active	Passive
Present simple	I do the homework. She eats the apples.	The homework is done (by me). The apples are eaten (by her).
	werkwoord present	am/is/are + voltooid deelwoord
Past simple	I did the homework. She ate the apples.	The homework was done (by me). The apples were eaten (by her).

Passive 

Make the sentences passive.

3. The best chocolate is made in Switzerland (by factories).
4. Five banks had been robbed (by those prisoners).
5. Over 20 models have been produced in the past two years (by them).
6. The window had been broken (by the little girl).
