Extreme adjectives
When an adjective already contains the idea of "very" in its meaning, you can only make it stronger by using 'absolutely': 

Examples: amazing, ancient, awful, delicious, enormous, excellent, exhausted, fascinating, freezing, gorgeous, terrible, terrifying, tiny, etc.

I'm tired.
I'm exhausted. -> very tired
I'm absolutely exhausted -> 100% exhausted

Don't say "I'm very/extremely/really exhausted"

I'm upset about my grades.
I'm devastated by my grades. -> extremely upset
I'm utterly devastated by my grades. -> 100% devastated

utterly = completely = absolutely = entirely
