Tips for your listening exam:

• Listen to the introduction carefully and think of what you already know about the subject

• Read the questions AND answers before the audio clip starts

• Focus, listen and discover the correct answer .                NOTE: speakers might put the answers in different words.

Question 1: WHAT IS THE VISIT ABOUT?

• Rob wants to help Warren stay out of prison.
• we would like to help you stay out of prison and find a job too

Question 2: WHERE CAN WARREN READ ABOUT THE SUPPORT AVAILABLE TO HIM?

• In a leaflet and on a website
• firstly, I will give you  (a leaflet) with general information and advice that is important for all ex prisoners
• Also on the back (of the leaflet) there is a website with even more information

Question 3: What is said about this step on the action plan?

A housing advisor will help Warren apply for help with his rent.

• Warren will get help with his rent if he fills in a form.
• I will give you a form to fill in. You might be able to get some money to help you with your rent

Question 4: What does Warren think about getting a job?

• He didn't think it was possible at first
• Who would want me? I just got out of prison.

Question 5: What will happen in three months?

• Warren will have another home visit from Rob.
• The last step is for us to have a follow-up meeting. I won't set a date now, we'll do that later on.

• Read head of the article carefully and think of what you already know about the subject

• Read the questions ONLY before reading

• With the question in mind look for YOUR correct answer .         NOTE: compare your answer to the pre-given answers.
• Choose the one that is closest.
