Goals:

What does the future continuous look like?

Shall / will + be + ing form

I will be expecting Derek’s phone call tomorrow.

What shall we be watching tonight?

Note: Shall is only used for future time reference with I and we, and is more formal than will.

When do you use it?

• To say something in the future will be going on for some time.
• To refer to events that are set or have been decided on.
• To ask about someone's plans politely.
