have / has + past participle

How do you make a past participle?
● regular verb: infinitive + ed → to work → he has worked
● irregular verb: 3rd form → to go - went - gone → he has gone
This is how you make a past simple
Affirmative: verb + ed / 2nd form
Negative: didn’t + verb
Question: Did + verb

Slide 2 - Slide

you use the present perfect:

* when something happened in the past and it’s not important when it happened
* when something started in the past and is still continuing
* when something happened in the past and you can still see the result
* when something has just happened or is about to happen
