Meet the Candidates
You have now been assigned a party. This activity works best where you have a candidate from each party and one podcast leader.
(The teacher should split the class into groups now)

Setup Desktop for Debate
Open your research document up from the previous lesson (I recommend splitting the screen so you can see the podcast window and your notes at the same time.
Podcast leader needs to ensure that all contributers are in the podcast before starting.

Start the Debate
You must adhere to the following rules during the debate:
  1.  Speaking Time - A speaker should not speak for more than 1 minute at a time continuously - the podcast leader will stop your input, if you go over this time.
  2. Questions - The podcast leader will ask a question and then each contributer will get a chance to respond. The podcast leader can then come back and ask follow up questions to the contributers responses after everyone has responded.
  3. Conduct - Contributers must ensure that their responses are appropriate and meet our school expectations. Inappropriate responses will result in being removed from the debate.
Podcast Leaders should now click the "Record Button". They should introduce the debate, explaining about the General Election and the purpose of the debate. They should then ask their first question, allow responses and then give follow up questions.
