First Conditional: Dingen die gaan gebeuren
1) If + present simple ... will (not) + hele ww
2) Will (not) + hele ww ... if + present simple

Present Simple:
(+) I/You/We/They = hele ww
      She/He/it = hele ww + s
(-) I/You/We/They = don't + hele ww
     She/He/It = doesn't + hele ww
(?) Do + I/you/we/they + hele ww
      Does + she/he/it + hele ww

  • If you help me, I will help you.
  • If you don't stop, you will be in trouble.
  • If she doesn't listen, she will not understand the rules.


  • They will not pass their exams if they don't study.
  • We will go to the park tomorrow if it is sunny.
  • He will be angry if his sister steals his toys.

To Be = were

  • If you listened to me, I wouldn't be angry at you.

  • He would buy a house if he won the lottery.
