  • Ask questions (B-B-B = Bord, Buur, Boek (of itslearning)

  1. You are going to mix & mingle
  2. Take some playing cards
  3. Each card has a question that goes with it. Find a classmate and chat about the questions. 
  4. When you hear the word CHANGE, find someone else to talk to and change cards with someone else so you have different questions to discuss.

  1. You always understand more English than you can produce. Understand = Reading and Listening, Produce = Writing and Speaking.
  2. Language = communication - If someone else understands you, you have reached your goal. 
  3. Business English (Marketing English) = You have to get it right, if not, you (your company) might look like a fool. 
  4. Use tools TO HELP YOU LEARN

If you think your English is better than it actually is, you are not open to learning and improving your English. 

Marketing knowledge will probably be outdated in a few years. Your English knowledge will not, it's there to stay!

You don't need to travel to the UK to be surrounded by English, it's all around you. 
  • Go outside, walk around and take as many pictures of English words and sentences that you see around you. Look at banners, signs, cars, buildings, shop windows and more. 
  • Each person or pair should take at least 20 photos
  • Save your photos, you will use them in an assignment next week.
