      Listening practice

      We're going to watch a video about the Bermuda Triangle. (Buzzfeed unsolved) To reach our goals for this lesson we'll be working in phases. 
      • Pre-listening: This prepares you for the topic, activating your prior knowledge and setting a purpose for listening.
      • While-listening: This phase helps you focus on key details and main ideas, improving your comprehension as you actively engage with the content.
      • Post-listening: This allows you to reflect on what you've heard, discuss your thoughts, and connect the information to what you already know, making your understanding stronger.

      Check out exercise 1 on your hand out. 
      Think: for a minute think about your answers individually. 
      Pair: once you've figured out your answer, make pairs/duos. 
      Share: for 5 minutes share and discuss both of your answers in English.

      - The video includes some advanced vocabulary, so before you listen to it I want to check whether you can guess or already know their meanings. 
      - Work on exercise 2 by matching the words to their definitions.
      - You have a few minutes to complete this exercise. If you finish early, you can read the questions of Exercise 3.

      • I encourage you to do this exercise individually to really test your knowledge and skills.
