Discussion
  • In pairs (you can decide)
  • 10 minutes discussion per pair
  • Discussion about a prepared topic of your choosing
  • You are allowed to have notes; however, you are not allowed to write out complete sentences. 
  • Mainly your speaking skills will be graded during this discussion; however, your discussion skills will also be part of the grade

I will give you a thesis. 
Decide whether you are pro or con.

If you are pro you can stand up, 
if you are con you can remain seated. 

Also, be prepared to explain why you are pro or con.

I don't agree with ..., because...
I believe this is correct, because...
I disagree with this thesis, because...

  • Think of a topic for your discussion
  • Fill in the Google form document
    in the next slide

    Do note! I want every group to have a different topic of discussion, so if there are more groups with the same topic, we will have to draw lots.
