Let's practise: advice mail
Dear Sir/Madam,

I work at a supermarket after school. A coworker I will call Betsy (not her real name) sometimes takes cans of energy drink or chocolate bars without paying for them. I have seen her do this several times.

My question is, do you think I should report Betsy to our boss for shoplifting? On the one hand, my parents have always taught me to tell the truth and that any stealing is wrong. On the other hand, I am afraid Betsy will be fired and that would be my fault. I don't know what to do here.

I would appreciate your advice and look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Raoul Kingma
