QUESTIONS

Regel 1:

Could, Was / Were --> Komen aan het begin van de zin.

Is het onderwerp: I, She, He, It --> Gebruik "Was"

Is het onderwerp: You, They, We --> Gebruik "Were"

Examples (Voorbeelden)

Was your mom in the supermarket yesterday?

Were you sad to go back to school?

Regel 2: 

Bij andere vragen in de Past Simple zet je "did" aan het begin van de zin. 

Je gebruikt na "did" altijd het onderwerp en dan het hele werkwoord. 

Examples (Voorbeelden)

Did you bring your Ipad to school?

Did they like the party?

Did she take my number?

Regel 3:

WH-vragen zijn --> What, Where, Who, When, Which of How

Wanneer je een WH-vraag stelt, komt het WH-woord aan het begin van de zin.

Examples (Voorbeelden)

Where was Lisa last week?

Where did Amy go on vacation this summer?

How did you say that, Mike?

NEGATIONS

Regel 1:

Was / Were --> Komt er "not" of n't bij.

Could / Would --> Komt er "not" of n't bij.

Is het onderwerp: I, She, He, It --> Gebruik "Was"

Is het onderwerp: You, They, We --> Gebruik "Were"

Examples (Voorbeelden)

Your mom wasn't in the supermarket yesterday.

You weren't sad to go back to school.

You couldn't take a photo of us.

Regel 2: 

Bij andere ontkenningen in de Past Simple zet je "didn't" voor het werkwoord in de zin.

Je gebruikt bij "didn't" altijd het hele werkwoord. 

Didn't = Did not 

Examples (Voorbeelden)

You didn't bring your Ipad to school.

They didn't like the party.

She didn't take my number.
