2:00 - It's two o'clock.

3:15 - It's a quarter past three.

4:30 - It's half past four.

5:45 - It's a quarter to six.

6:12 - It's twelve minutes past six.

7:47 - It's thirteen minutes to eight.

Goal:

You can write the date correctly

Saying the date

There's two ways to say the date. 

You could say: 

The grand opening is on June the first. 

Or:

The grand opening is on the first of June.

You either say the month first and then the day or the other way around.

It is May the twenty-second today. It is the twenty-second of May today.

British English: DAY/MONTH/YEAR. American English: MONTH/DAY/YEAR
