About the English Lessons
*  We will start with some tests and assignments to assess your level
* You will need to buy a multilevel license from Pearson (more about this later)
* We will work collectively at B1 or B2 level, but you will get the chance to work at your own level individually (A1 - C1)

After 6 months it is possible to take the exams on the condition that you have completed the course

More about the English Lessons
* We will use a 6-month multilevel license which you must buy from Pearson.com (€26,15 including a 15% discount). I will place the link and instructions in Teams.

*  The method is called 'Speak Out 3rd Edition'. It is fully digital but if you prefer a combination of online and book, you can also choose that option (but then you will only be able to access 1 level). It will cost you around €36 (the license is valid for 24 months).

* We will work online, but I will create Teams assignments with instructions, as a reminder for the English assignments.

Exemptions and mandatory assignments
* You can get an exemption if you have already taken English exams and passed them at MBO4/Havo or VWO
* If this is the case you need to report for class after which you can go and do other schoolwork.
* Almost every LWP contains an assignment for English which is mandatory for everyone including those with an exemption.

What I expect from you
Door closed = You knock and ask if you can come in
You keep your phone in your bag during the lesson
You do not eat during the lesson
You clean up after yourself and say goodbye at the end of the lesson
You do not leave the classroom during instruction time
You try to meet the deadlines and get in touch with me if there is a problem
You do your best to keep focused and motivated to learn the language
You always bring your laptop and charger
You always bring earphones that connect to your laptop
You only use AI to check your spelling and grammar, not to create texts!

Slide 11 - Slide

Wow that was a lot...
What are your questions?

Slide 12 - Slide

Questionnaire
You can find this assignment in Teams. That is also where you hand it in.

Try to create an informative text about yourself by using these questions.

Work in 'Word' (doc. x) so I can place my feedback in the online document.

Use at least 200 words!
