Goal of the lesson: at the end of this lesson you understand the difference between the present simple and present continuous

and you can use them both.

What do you remember about the present continuous? You may give examples if you like.

The present continuous verb tense indicates that an action or condition is happening now, frequently, and may continue into the future.

How is it constructed?

Present tense of to be (am, is or are) verb-ing

I am working right now.  He is sleeping on the couch at the moment. 

signal words: right now, at the moment, now, listen! hear!
