Born in Narewka Poland in a large Jewish family in 1929

The family moved to Krakau in 1938 for better job opportunities

In 1939 Germany invades Poland and the Jews have to live in the Jewish Getto

Leon's father and brother start working for Oskar Schindler

Leon in America

Leon survives the 2nd WW and emigrates to the USA

He becomes a succesful teacher and councellor at Huntington Park High School in Los Angeles

They meet again

Leon meets Oskar Schindler one last time in 1972 at a reunion in Los Angeles

Oskar remembers him very well: 

"I know who you are, you're little Leyson"
