Ss learn restaurant words and functional language for ordering a meal at a restaurant. The context is a reading where they read an article about taking photos of food. This leads into the functional language, where Ss also listen to and practise using polite intonation.

Our goal today

You are going to learn how to order a meal in a restaurant: restaurant words.

The 10 differences: an added wine bottle label, left light off, coffeepot facing right, grey-coloured pencil pot, different coloured painting, and white wine. There's also a blue menu, different facing tie, missing waistcoat button and grey apron.

1. tell about your favourite restaurant: where it is, what kind of food they sell, what you like ordering there, etc.
