Wanneer er een vorm van to be, have got/has got, of een hulpwerkwoord in de zin staat, dan zet je deze vooraan in de zin gevolgd door NOT:

Aram has got a brother named Leon.
Hasn't Aram got a brother named Leon?

In alle andere gevallen maak je een ontkennende vraag op deze manier:

Don't/doesn't/didn't + onderwerp + hele werkwoord
