With this exercise you will practice interview skills, question formation, and answering using job/internship-related vocabulary.

Find a partner. You will interview each other with a provided list of questions. You can also ask your own questions: 
1. Why do you want this internship/job?
2. What relevant skills do you have?
3. Can you describe a time you worked on a team?
4. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Switch roles and ask each other the same questions

In this exercise you will talk about your past or imagined work/internship experiences using descriptive language with a new partner.

You will talk about one of the following:
A previous work/internship experience (if you have one), OR
An internship or job you would like to apply for and why.

Describe the work environment (e.g., clinic, supermarket, retail store, etc).
Talk about the responsibilities you had or imagine you would have.
Share the skills you learned or hope to develop.
Explain what you liked or disliked about the job or what you think you'd enjoy about the internship.
Partners should ask at least 2 follow up questions: (e.g., "What was your supervisor like?" "How did you handle difficult tasks?").
