Re-writing Almost, Maine
  • We are going to add some of our own words to the play
  • Work in groups
  • In your part of the play, you have to change the metaphors.
  • Choose words that you think are suitable/fun/weird/etc.
  • So, for example: "the northern lights" (18) could be substituded for "the crocodiles"
  • When everybody's finished, two people from each group are going to act out (or just read) their part of the play.
