Slide 18 - Open question

Give Katherine advice on what to do in her situation.

Dear Graham,
My father still pays for my mobile phone bill and whenever I go to stay with him (every two weekends) he insists on reading all my text messages and looking through the numbers I’ve called.
I’ve asked him to respect my privacy but he says that if I want him to continue paying the bills, I have to put up with this. There’s nothing dodgy on it, but it makes me feel uncomfortable.
I’m 14 years old and can’t afford my own phone yet. My mother doesn’t approve of me having one anyway, so she’s not going to support me here. Can you give me some guidance?
Katherine B, Hertfordshire
