Cambridge English

Cambridge English: what is it and why do it?
The Cambridge exam is an official, globally recognised exam that you can use to prove you can use English good enough to study at college or university.

A lot of different levels. Our students take the exam at CAE (Advanced) or CPE (Proficiency) level. They do this in year 5.

In the years leading up to it, you have one lesson a week. In this lesson, you practise everything you need to be able to do before the exam. The lessons are exclusively in English!

The lessons and books are free. For the exam in year five, your parents have to pay. You can follow the classes even if you never take the official exam.

Cambridge English: when can you join?
- You have an average grade of 7,5 (vwo) for English.
- You're not afraid to speak English in class
- You want to do it
- You are willing to commit for half a year in year 1, all year in years 2, 3, 4 and 5.
- Your parents approve
- Your coach doesn't have any reservations and is fine with it.

Do NOT do this because you think English is very hard and you could use some extra classes. This is what regular flex lessons are for .

Cambridge English: now what?
- If you want to join, discuss it with your parents first. If they have questions, they can send me an e-mail.
- With your parents' approval, talk to your coach about this.
- Coach okay? Send me an e-mail, telling me that you want to join.
- Lessons start in January/February.
