1. A song is specifically written to sound good to music and a poem is written to sound good being read out loud.
2. They both contain rhyme and are written differently than regular spoken text.

Negative:

• He has difficulty sleeping in the city (I can't close my eyes/ if the city never sleeps than that makes two).
