Your oral exam:
You will be expected to 'organize' the exam yourself.
You will be expected to talk about:
- Your own book: characters, important events, setting, the author's message
- Your own opinion about the book
- Your favourite part & why
- Similarities & differences between the 3 books in your group
- Any other topics you come up with yourself (connected to the books)

You need to finish the whole book
If you cannot finish the book in class, 
you need to read at home, too!

You may read a book of your own choice (paper copy)
> During reading time, everyone reads a book
> You should bring a book every lesson

Reading & preparing during lessons:
      - Step 1: listen to  my explanation
      - Step 2: read your previous notes 
      - Step 3: read your book
      - Step 4: take notes
      - Step 5: talk about your book with your group in English
      - Step 6: every time, one group member takes notes of the group  
                         conversation and shares them with the rest (shared document?)

Before, read through your own notes:
  1.     Title, how many pages, how many chapters
  2.     When was it published & where
  3.     Protagonist(s)
  4.     What has happened so far (in short)
  5.     What do you predict will happen in the first chapter
  6.     What do you predict will happen in the rest of the story

After, take notes:
  1.     How much did you read? How far did you get? (page no.)
  2.      In short, describe what happened in the part you have just read
  3.     Make a note of any important event(s)
  4.     Copy a sentence that shows a character trait of the protagonist

Speaking, with your group (7 mins).

  1. Read out loud to your group: the first (or first & second) paragraph from your book, or another paragraph of your choice
  2. Ask them to predict what will happen in this story (they should provide arguments)
  3. Tell them your predictions about the first chapter and the rest of the story
  4. When all 3 of you have done this, discuss which book you think you prefer & why. One of you will take notes!
