Slide 8 - Slide

Korte uitleg woordvolgorde...
The English use a very fixed word order...  in short I will cover some general rules you need to take into account...

Slide 9 - Slide

The easiest one...
                                                          P                 T
1.) I went on a holiday to Indonesia in the Spring Break
                                                             P                                       T
2.) I played a football match in IJsselmuiden last Saturday.

Slide 10 - Slide

Like in this conversation:
Person A: "Did you go to New York in December?"
                                                               T                             P
Person B: "No, I didn't..    "In January I visited New york."

Slide 11 - Slide

Bijwoord v. frequentie...

1 ww:   He never goes to the supermarket on Saturdays.
2.ww (tussen twee werkwoorden in)
He has always wanted to visit New York.

Slide 12 - Slide

1. He never goes to the supermarket on Saturdays.

*Bij am/are/is/was/were zet je hem er weer achter!
1. He is usually on time.
2. She was never late.

Slide 13 - Slide

Put these words in the right order:

my grandmother's place - on Tuesdays - my father and mother - rarely - visit

Slide 14 - Open question

stay- at my aunt and uncle's place - most likely - will- my sister

Slide 15 - Open question
