  • mens
  • dier
  • plant
  • ding

  • Een werkwoord (als je iets doet)
  • Een bijvoeglijk naamwoord
  • Een ander bijwoord
  • Een hele zin

Adverbs(Bijwoorden)
Heeft (meestal) een andere vorm dan het bijvoeglijk naamwoord
  • Bijvoeglijk NW +ly :  Kind - Kindly
  • Bijwoorden die niet op -ly eindigen: bijv. near, close, fast, late, fair, direct
  • Bijwoorden die wel op -ly eindigen, maar met andere betekenis: bijv. lately, fairly, directly
  • Goed: Good - well; Moeilijk: difficult - with difficulty

  • Bijvoeglijk naamwoorden van twee lettergrepen eindigend op -le, -er, -y of -ly:  +er of +est   Example: Funny, Funnier, Funniest
