Did you know that Australia is 185 times bigger than the Netherlands? It is also the sixth largest country in the world! Australia is famous for its beaches, surfing and swimming.
If you want to travel to Australia from the Netherlands, it takes about 21-24 hours by plane. But if you walked, it would take 4 years!
Some of the most dangerous animals in Australia include the box jellyfish, the funnel web spider, and the saltwater crocodile. Some of the most common animals in Australlia are Kangeroos. 
The Sydney Opera House in Sydney is one of the most famous buildings in Australia. Another famous place is the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef system in the world.
Australia is also home to a unique sport called AFL (Australian Football League), which is different from regular football!
