Answer these questions in relation to the keywords we covered:

  • What do you think they all have in common?

  • What makes them different?

Slide 12 - Slide

All of these three examples are connected
How?
You can make a choice to complete a responsibility, depending on the outcome of the responsibility you will encounter a different consequence.

Slide 13 - Slide

Further Definitions
  • Dignity (in choice making) - the sense of self-worth and respect each person should have
  • Respect (for responsibility) - to have proper regard for the feelings and rights of other people
When we respect a thing or idea, we consider it important and take care of it
  • Concern (for consequence)- to be worried about or have an interest in someone or something

Slide 14 - Slide

Personal Beliefs & Values
  • Each of the keywords we just covered relates to peoples individual beliefs and values
  • The choices that people make often related to what they believe in
