The Present Perfect 

Form:

I have worked  / bought

The Present Perfect

Use:

we use the present perfect tense when:

1. something started in the past and is still going on now:

He has worked here since 2019

The have had a relationship for twelve years now

The present Perfect

2. Something started in the past but 'when' is not mentioned:

I have been to the US several times.

3. The effect of something that happened in the past its effect is still noticable

He can't play tonight, because he has broken his arm.
