Today's goal: I can use superlatives to compare more than two people or things 

Superlative (overtreffende trap)

Wanneer? Als je zegt dat iets al het ander overtreft. Kan gaan over people, places or things 

I'm the tallest person in my family 

Hoe?  We gebruiken: The + Adjective + -est or the most + adjective 

That is the coolest car of the world 

She is the most interesting person I have ever met 

De verschillende soorten 

Korte adjectives + - est = strong =    the strongest                                      cute  She is the cutest

Korte adjectives eindigend met een klinker + medeklinker=

dubbele medeklinker + est = big= the biggest                                             smallest 

behalve met W of Y = slowest & greyest 

Adjectives eindigend met een Y = haal de Y weg + iest =  

friendly = the friendliest                                                                                          happy = the happiest
