1. Exploring & formulating the problem.
In this step you wil take a closer look at what the problem or assignment is. You will write down in your own words what the assignment is and what requirements you will have to meet.

You can show me in your own words what the assignment is.
Assingment
You will organize a high tea for your class. You already did some research of the background information of a high tea. You will use the design cycle to organize the event.
Requirements
  • We do not use pre- prepared food.
  • You have to use the cutting techniques you have learned.
  • You will use at least two cooking techniques.
  • You will make at least two dishes.
  • You can make the dishes in less then 80 minutes.
  • You will have to work together.

2. Generating & selecting ideas.
In this step you will brainstorm ideas! Do not work out any plans in details because the client or teacher can say no! What kind of information do you need?

In this step you will work out all the details! After this step you will be able to cook without forgetting anything!

4. Building a prototype.
Yeah it's time to cook! You can finally make your dishes after all that preparation. You will do this with a buddy.

5. Testing 
You just made your dishes and now you can check if you did it correctly. If not, you still can make adjustments. Don't forget to taste your dish to make sure!

6. Presenting
So you are all set up? It's time to Present your dishes to the other half of the class. They already set the tables. Before we go enjoy the dishes you will tell everyone what you made.
