Caste system (book)

South Asian cultures are known for the caste system. Everyone is born into a certain social class, a ‘caste’. Essentially, you live, marry and work with people from the same caste. It’s important to show respect to people from higher castes.

In most Asian countries, rice forms the basis of every meal. Rice production is very visible in the landscape of many countries, in the form of rice paddy fields, also known as rice paddies

Saving face or losing face?

Saving face is for example about being humble and shifting the spotlight away from yourself
