What is the rule?

Present simple:

Wat geef je aan met de present simple?

1. Iets dat altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurt
2. Iets dat NU aan de gang is.
3. Iets dat is gebeurde in het verleden.
4. iets dat bezig was in het verleden

Present Simple:

1. He travels to work four times a week.
2. He travelled to work four times a week.
3. He is travelling to work.

When you talk about something that happens: always, often, never or when we talk about facts and habits.

I/You/We/You/They - verb

He/She/It - verb + s (SHIT rule)

S or O sound - +es

Go = goes/watch = watches

consonant (medeklinker) + y = ies

Study = studies

The sentences: 

1. They eat fish every day.
2. He lives in New York.
3. My dog never drinks from the river.
4. My parents often walk in the park.
5. She never worries about her cat. 
6. She drinks milk every morning.
