Adverbs - bijwoorden

Bijwoorden zijn woorden zoals waarschijnlijk / erg / altijd / normaal / nog steeds. 

Zij is altijd ziek.

Hij is waarschijnlijk ziek.

Wij zijn nog steeds ziek.

In het Engels kan dit ook met adverbs (probably / really / just / always / usually / still)

She is always sick.

He is probably sick.

We are still sick.

Adverbs - bijwoorden

Je moet weten waar je een adverb in de zin plaatst.

Staat er in de zin  am / are / is / was / were, zet je de adverb na dit werkwoord:

He is already one of the world's best boxers

He's always late.

Staat er in de zin een ander werkwoord dan die boven zijn genoemd, zet je de adverb ervoor:

I still think he is your son.

The team probably played better without me.

(probably) Of everyone in here, I scored the highest.

Put the adverb in the correct place in the sentence:

(usually) Mrs Shell is the nicest teacher.

Put the adverb in the correct place in the sentence:

(never) I work hard enough to earn money.
