Present Perfect

Used for actions in the past that are linked to the present. 

Bridge between 

present and past!

Action in the past but no clear time indication. 

eg: He has learned Chinese. 

Action started the past but continues up to now (and maybe in the future).

eg: He has lived in Geel for 15 years. 

Action in the past but result in the present. 

eg: He has lost his keys. 

Recently finished actions. 

eg: Belgium has just won the World Cup!
