Goal: Enhance staff expertise to adapt to changing circumstances and achieve multi-year plan goals. 

Annual Training Plan: Developed for teachers and educational support staff across various locations. 

Types of Training: Can be self-selected or mandatory. 

Coaching & training beginning teachers 

Support for New Staff: Comprehensive onboarding program for new employees. 

Target Group: Specifically designed for beginning teachers (BSL). 

Teacher training school 

NOD Haaglanden: Johan de Witt, in collaboration with seven other secondary schools and four teacher training institutions, established the Network for Teacher Education (NOD) Haaglanden. 

Objective: Address both qualitative and quantitative teacher shortages in the region.

Instructions:

1. Familiarize yourself with the JdW-Kijkwijzer before the visit.
   
2. Observe classes according to the scheduled times, focusing on how teaching methods align with our JdW-Kijkwijzer. 
3. Take notes on teacher-student interactions, instructional methods, and student engagement.

Assignment: Lesson Observation with the Johan de Witt Viewer

Objective:

To evaluate and analyze teaching practices using the Johan de Witt viewer.

Instructions:

Familiarize yourself with the Johan de Witt viewer criteria before the visit.

Observe classes according to the scheduled times, focusing on how teaching methods align with our viewer criteria.

Take notes on teacher-student interactions, instructional methods, and student engagement.

Prepare a brief report summarizing your observations and any insights or recommendations based on the viewer’s criteria.

Discussion:

Participate in a discussion session to share your findings and explore potential improvements or adaptations for both schools.

Goal:

Gain a deeper understanding of educational practices and foster an exchange of effective teaching strategies.
